This is an example of why I'm so anal about washing my hands and staying home when I'm sick. I wish other people would do the same...

I've really grown to appreciate the fact that people wear medical masks when they get sick over here. And, if you're sick and you have a cough and you're not wearing one, people are like "Dude! WTF?!" It just makes perfect sense. The problem in the States is that people tend to associate it with having sever allergies or something. So if you wear one, it's a little goofy looking.
